Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

The controller for data processed on relofinder.ch is Loaded AG, Klostergutstrasse 4, CH-8252 Schlatt-Altparadies, Switzerland (UID CHE-413.943.367; imprint). For any privacy matter, write to hello@relofinder.ch.

What we collect

• Request data you submit through our forms: your name, email, phone (optional), citizenship category, destination, timing, budget ranges, household details, preferred language, the agencies you picked (if any) and notes — and for corporate requests, your company details, volumes and requirements.
• Your consent to pass your request on to our partner agencies as described below: we store that you ticked the box, when, and which version of the wording you saw.
• Usage data via Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool: aggregated page statistics only — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles. To see which pages lead to a request, we also note the page and referring website you arrived from, and any campaign tags in the link, and store them with your request.
• Spam protection: how long the form was open before you sent it, and a keyed hash of your IP address (never the address itself) to limit submissions to five per hour. The hashes are deleted after one day.
• Advertising and analytics signals, only if you click Accept in the cookie banner: the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Ads — see "Cookies and similar technologies" below.
• Technical logs kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

Why we process it

• Private requests: to pass your request to one of our partner agencies that covers your destination and services, so that it can contact you. A person at ReloFinder reads your request and chooses the partner agency. That agency receives your request (destination, moving from, services, timing, household, work situation, who pays, monthly rent budget, citizenship category (EU/EFTA, non-EU or Swiss), preferred language) together with your name, email, phone and message; there is no anonymous stage. If it cannot take your request on, we may pass it to one other partner agency instead, and we tell you which one. Apart from that, no other agency receives your data. When you submit, you agree to this: "Pass my request and contact details to one ReloFinder partner agency, so it can contact me."
• Corporate tenders: matched partner agencies (up to four) receive an anonymous brief only (relocation volume, destinations, timeline, services, EU/EFTA status of the employees, industry, company size). Your company name, the notes you write to us and your contact details stay with ReloFinder. An agency learns who you are only when you click Connect on its offer; other agencies are not told. When you submit, you agree to this: "Send my anonymous brief to up to 4 matched partner agencies. My company and contact details go only to an agency I choose to connect with."
• To send you the confirmation, the name of the partner agency that has your private request, the agencies' offers on a company brief, and any follow-up relating to your request.
• To operate, secure and improve the platform, including preventing spam and abuse.

Legal bases under the GDPR, where it applies: your consent for passing your request and contact details to our partner agencies (Art. 6(1)(a)); performance of the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b)); and our legitimate interest in running a secure platform (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hello@relofinder.ch; we then stop passing your request on. Agencies that already received your contact details keep them under their own responsibility (see below).

Who receives your data

• Matched partner agencies. We pass requests and briefs only to our preferred partner agencies: relocation agencies that have an agreement with ReloFinder (Loaded AG) and are listed on our methodology page. The other agencies in the directory receive nothing from us. Private requests: the one partner agency we choose (or, if it cannot take the request on, the one other partner agency we tell you about) receives your request with your name, email, phone and message. Company briefs: before you connect, partner agencies see only the anonymous brief described above. The partner agency that receives your private request, or that you connect with on a company brief, acts from then on as an independent controller for its own client relationship with you: its own privacy notice applies to what it does with your data. Every agency that receives requests or briefs has agreed to our agency terms: requests and briefs are confidential, may not be resold or passed on, and are used only to answer your request.
• Our processors, who handle data only on our instructions: Supabase (database hosting), Resend (transactional email), Netlify (website hosting and server functions), Plausible Insights (analytics, EU-hosted).
• Advertising and analytics providers, only after you click Accept in the cookie banner: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel) and Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion measurement).

We never sell your data. Your name, e-mail address and request details are never passed to advertising providers.

Cookies and similar technologies

Plausible (analytics) sets no cookies and builds no profiles. It runs for every visitor.

Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) loads only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. It then records that a browser visited ReloFinder and keeps that signal in a remarketing audience for 180 days. It sets the cookies _fbp and, after a click on a Meta ad, _fbc.

That audience is also used to advertise Expat Savvy, a Swiss insurance advisory brand that is operated by Loaded AG, which also operates ReloFinder. People relocating to Switzerland must take out basic health insurance within three months of arrival, which is why we consider this relevant. Only the browser-level signal is used — never your name, e-mail address or enquiry details — and advertisements never reference your visit here.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) are loaded only after you click Accept. Until then, Google receives nothing from this site. They set cookies whose names start with _ga or _gcl.

Changing your choice. Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page, reopens the cookie banner and shows your current choice. If you switch from Accept to Decline, we tell the Meta Pixel and Google to stop, delete the cookies named above from your browser and reload the page without them. From then on nothing from Meta or Google loads. Visits the Meta Pixel recorded before stay in the audience until they expire after 180 days.

Stored in your browser, not in cookies. Without asking, the site keeps a few settings in your browser’s own storage: your cookie choice, the agencies you picked to compare, a closed announcement bar, the page colour on the homepage, and the page and website you arrived from (sent to us only with a request you submit). These are needed for the site to work as you use it and never reach an advertising provider.

Legal basis for the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Ads: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time with Cookie settings, as easily as you gave it; under the Swiss FADP we inform you transparently here and in the banner. Nothing from these providers loads before you decide.

International transfers

We operate from Switzerland and use providers in Switzerland, the EU and the US. Netlify, Resend and Supabase are US-based companies, and Meta and Google (only with your consent) may process data in the US. Where personal data leaves Switzerland or the EU/EEA, we rely on recognised safeguards: the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks where the provider is certified, otherwise standard contractual clauses provided by our processors.

How long we keep it

• Requests that did not lead to an introduction (we could not pass your private request to a partner agency, or you did not connect with any agency on a company brief) are deleted 12 months after you submitted them. We run this deletion every month.
• Requests that led to an introduction are kept for as long as we need them to invoice the agency for the introduction and to meet statutory retention duties for business records (up to 10 years under Swiss law), and not used for anything else.
• Spam-protection hashes: one day. Links in our emails to agencies and clients expire after 7 to 30 days.
• You can ask us to delete your request data at any time, subject to those statutory duties.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, and request a copy in portable form. Email hello@relofinder.ch — we answer within the statutory deadlines of the Swiss FADP and, where applicable, the GDPR. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority (in Switzerland, the FDPIC).

Agency profiles and rankings are built from publicly available, verified reviews and public agency information, per our methodology. Review authors' names appear as published on the original public platform.
